It is important to us that the work we do and the success we've found does not stop with us but continues for generations to come. That's why we've appointed a youth representative, Khaila tuuyukdanax̂ Fratis, to advise our board and core team on what we can do to best engage and represent the views of Bering Sea youth as an organization.

Khaila tuuyukdana Fratis is a Yup’ik and Unangan sophomore at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks from Manokotak and St. Paul Island, studying elementary education. In addition to her clear erudition and strong academic track record, Khaila is a kind and engaging individual who leads by example. We are constantly impressed by Khaila’s intellectual curiosity and desire to serve our region. For these reasons, we recruited her to our organization to serve as our youth representative.

Khaila is the youngest member of our board of directors. If you are interested in having our youth representative at your event, please email: tukuuludax@gmail.com
